Programme Description
Big Builders
This unique Big Builders education programme for preschool develops children’s tactile, motor, and spatial skills while teaching science and engineering principles using K’nex®. These programmes are conducted in small group settings to ensure that each engineer gains the intended knowledge and experience. For Ages: 4-6 Years
Bricks Challenge
Our most popular education program introduces elementary school children (ages 7 – 11) to the basic principles of mathematics, science and engineering. By integrating the basic arithmetic learned in school with an intuitive active learning process, children grasp a better understanding of the fundamentals of physics.
For Ages: 7-11 Years
Galileo Technic
The Galileo Technic programme investigates mechanical systems from a real engineer’s point of view. The programme focuses on finding solutions using teamwork in order to build complex machines. Children will explore the mechanical, mathematical and physical aspects of machinery and the logic process that goes into building them.
Robo Bricks
The aim of Robo Bricks is to introduce children to both the theoretical and the practical sides of mechanical engineering and software development. The course nurtures algorithmic thinking and implementation, using the LEGO® We-Do 2.0 programming language. Students build a robot from LEGO parts at each lesson and program it to perform the required function. Programming will be conducted predominantly in English.
The culmination of the course is reached when the children plan a mechanical engineering project incorporating a software program they design, using the building, programming and presentation skills studied during the course.
